The Edible Learning Garden is a community garden and outdoor classroom where Rancho Vista students extend and apply their grade level science learning with hands-on (and mouths on!) experiences.

All K-5 classes visit the learning garden a minimum of five times each year. They participate in a variety of garden themed activities including learning about agriculture, sustainable farming, composting, nutrition, pollination, and plant related chemistry.

Rancho Vista hosts garden work parties several times each year to maintain and improve the garden area.
