Dear Roadrunner Families:

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year. I’m honored to serve as your Rancho Vista PTA President and will continue to bring your family experiences that enrich all our children’s education. This year, I’m also eager to create opportunities for everyone to come together as a community.

As a new family to the district, I decided to join the PTA to get to know the school better. My son entered Kindergarten in 2021 at a point in the pandemic when our ability to connect was limited. Since then, I’m grateful that I’ve gotten to know all of you—teachers, staff, students and their grownups. I’ve come to realize that “belonging to a community” comes from helping to build community together.

Rancho Vista offers our children an exceptional environment to learn and grow because families are so engaged. We rely on your support to sustain programs that I still remember loving as a kid: Art at Your Fingertips, Reflections, Fun Run, and Field Trips. Your PTA organizes the Scholastic Book Fair, Science Fair, World Fair & Carnival, Performing Arts, Web Based Learning, Assemblies, Teacher Trainings, Staff Appreciation, and so much more. We are also proud supporters of our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives.

There are countless opportunities to participate in big and small ways. I invite you to join the PTA and stay connected. Get involved by volunteering in our Learning Garden, classrooms, and events. Donate treats and supplies for staff appreciation. Attend our monthly PTA meetings. Learn how to shop & donate some dollars to support our school. Follow us on Instagram. Contactus for an invitation to join our private Facebook group. Find ways to engage that work for you and your family.

Thank you for supporting Rancho Vista Roadrunners on their education journeys. As guardians, we travel this journey not only with our own kids, but each other.

Sincerely yours,

Michelle Kim Hall
