Does your child LOVE reading? This year your child will have an opportunity to join “Battle of the Books” (BOB).  “Battle of the Books” is for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders who love to read. This is a voluntary reading “club”. We will read 28 books from a specific list over the school year (your child doesn’t have to read ALL 28 books), and then be on teams with other PV schools, and compete in a “Battle” about the books. (The Battle will take place in the spring—March/April). We meet once a month after school to discuss the books. Each month, books will be “assigned”.
